Senior Residential Support Worker – High Wycombe

You will enjoy a thorough, two-week induction, ongoing training for your continual professional development, regular supervision and 12 monthly salary increments.

The home that you will be working in provides long-term residential care for children and young people aged 12 to 17 who have challenging behaviours as result of significant abuse and negative earlier experiences. Working effectively as a team providing therapeutic care, with the support of the organisation’s therapists, clinical psychologists, health and education professionals, you will help the children regain their confidence and realise their full potential as young adults.

The position will require you to work on average 3 long-day shifts and 2 sleep ins per week.

Candidates are required to have:

  • A minimum of two years, recent experience of working in a children’s home.
  • A full driving licence
  • An NVQ3 Caring for Children and Young People or QCF Diploma level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent.
